Design ideas for bathroom storage
Bathrooms can be awkward, narrow spaces which lack in both wall and floor space for storage furniture. Yet, counterproductively, the bathroom is often one of the most cluttered areas in the house, with cotton pads, loofahs, towels, washstands and plenty other things in need of their own place in the bathroom or shower room.
To avoid everything looking a little too busy, you will need practical storage to help you organise all these bits and pieces. Storage baskets are great for shampoos and lotions when sat atop a shelf, and larger ones are good for keeping stacks of towels neat. A bathroom cabinet is wonderful if you have the room, and having a set of pegs on the back of the bathroom door can be a pretty way to hang your towels in the absence of space for a towel rack. Of course, a lovely bathroom commode with cabinets in the bottom is the ideal, but we've gathered many ideas here from the House & Garden archive to inspire you.
